General election was held on November 5, 2024 across the country, including in Barbour County. There were total of 2268 early votes, not including provisional ballots and absentee ballots. In May primary election, there were 669 early votes. Until Tuesday, close to quarter of registered voters in the county have already voted.
Total number of people who voted in the 2024 election was 6353, for the total of 64% of the voters - the largest turnout in recent years.
