Shop With A Cop Event Gearing Up

Annual Shop With A Cop event, organized by Barbour County Sheriff’s Department is approaching quickly. The event makes it possible for the local law enforcement officers to help families in need shop for Christmas presents for their family. This year, each family will also received personal care basket.

This year, Buckhannon Walmart will be hosting the event, as well as providing donations. Donations were also made by Brian and Rhonda Talbott, although more is needed to make sure there is enough for all the families that sign up.

If you would like to make monetary donation, or drop off new personal care or hygiene items, you may do so at the Barbour County Sheriff’s Department – both at the Law Enforcement Department and the Tax Office before November 30, 2024.
