Service Award Presented

Barbour County Chamber of Commerce Community Service Award is presented to a business that has played a significant role in furthering the good of Barbour County. This year, the award was presented to the Belington Emergency Squad Inc at the Barbour County Chamber of Commerce Annual Banquet.

The Belington Emergency Squad Inc. has proudly served the Barbour County Community since 1970 offering 911 Response, medical transport, and inter facility transports. The mission of Belington EMS is to provide outstanding emergency medical services and patient transportation in a professional manner while maintaining the dignity of those served. Belington Emergency Squad staff has gone above and beyond their call of duty and made citizens of Barbour County their utmost priority during times of ambulance coverage shortages. Their dedication and service to the people of Barbour County is commended. The award was accepted by Suzanna Skidmore, Derek Hart, Zach Moyer, and Lauren Digman.
