New Cheer And Tumbling Academy Opens In Philippi


Excitement is building in the cheer and tumbling community as former Alderson Broaddus University cheer coach Chad Haller announces the opening of the Battler CATS academy. This new venture promises to bring high-energy cheerleading, acrobatics, tumbling, and spirit classes to the area.


Located at the Rex Pyles Arena at Battlers Knob, Battler CATS offers a range of classes designed to foster both athleticism and team spirit.


Enrollment for tumbling classes is now open for children ages 5 and up. With a registration fee and a monthly tuition for four classes, Battler CATS provides an accessible and affordable option for families.


Coach Chad Haller, known for his successful tenure at Alderson Broaddus University, brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to Battler CATS. His vision is to create a space where young athletes can develop their skills, build confidence, and make lasting friendships.


In addition to tumbling, Battler CATS will soon introduce cheerleading, acrobatics, and spirit classes, broadening the opportunities for students to explore various aspects of these dynamic sports.
