Lions Club Purchases Memorial Bench And Table

Mary Alice McLean, 25-year member (1997-2022)

Jack Miller, 11-year member (2012-2023)

The Philippi Lions Club is pleased to announce that through their fundraiser and donations, they were able to purchase both a picnic table and a bench in memory of Michael White (2023), Mary Alice McLean (2022), Velma Allen (2020), and Jack Miller (2023). The bench will be placed at the new Myers Clinic and the picnic table will be placed under the pavilion at Veterans’ Park near the Covered Bridge (next to Smoker Friendly). They will be dedicating both on Friday, April 12, 2024, beginning at the Myers Clinic at 11 a.m. then going to the park around 11:30 a.m.
