The Philippi Public Library will host “May the Fourth Be With You” Make and Take on Saturday, May 4, 2024, from 10:30 a.m. – 12 p.m. Director Judy Buckner Larry said, “The purpose of the program is to promote literacy and have fun.”
Attendees of “May the Fourth Be With You” are encouraged to wear their favorite Star Wars costume. During the event, young attendees make a mask and finger light saber.
There will also be photo props so participants can take pictures with their own cameras. Young patrons can participate in a Star Wars Scavenger Hunt inside the library. The library will be giving out Star Wars coloring books to teens and adults and Star Wars stickers while supplies last.
