Healthy Grandfamilies Class To Take Place

A Healthy Grandfamilies class will be starting soon. This program was created by West Virginia State Extension and the grant is housed through the Tucker County Family Support Center. Classes will include healthy living, stress management, response to addiction, and legal aid. Class sessions will be led by Broaddus Hospital, Bright Futures Barbour County, and Legal Aid.

All grandparents raising their grandchildren are encouraged to attend this free class. Lunch and childcare will be provided. Classes will be April 15, 22, and 29 from 10 a.m. to Noon at the Philippi United Methodist Church. For more information or to register, call 304-457-1295.
