Girls Only Comic Club Welcomes Women 16+ for a Night of Comics, Conversation, and Community

This month, Artefaktual is bringing back a beloved tradition in comic shops across the country: the Girls Only Comic Club, a special space for women ages 16 and up to gather, discuss their favorite comics, and connect over shared interests. Starting this Wednesday, from 6 to 8 PM, this biweekly meetup will focus on creating a safe, welcoming environment for comic enthusiasts and pop culture fans alike.

Designed to be more than just a book club, Girls Only Comic Club offers an outlet for participants to unwind, meet new friends, and explore various themes within comics and broader pop culture topics. This laid-back, women-only setting fosters a strong sense of community, encouraging open discussions about everything from the latest graphic novels to favorite gaming trends.

A Welcoming Space for Every Interest: Participants will enjoy the chance to discuss not just comics, but also video games, fandoms, and anything else that resonates with the group. “We’re here to create a space where women can freely share their thoughts and interests without any pressure,” explained Gretch Corley. “Girls Only Comic Club is all about community, inclusion, and supporting each other’s unique interests.”
