County resident David Proudfoot will once again be teaching a fruit tree grafting class at the Golden Rule Building in Belington. This year’s class will take place this weekend, Sunday, April 21 from 1-2:30 p.m. The class fee will be used to provide all supplies and instruction necessary for participants to go home with a freshly grafted fruit tree of choice – along with the skills and knowledge to experiment with this fun aspect of gardening for the rest of your life.
David is a member of the Backyard Fruit Growers Association and has been grafting trees for years and many of the grafts made under his instruction at last year’s class were successful. Please email info@woodlandswv.org or call Katie at 304-614-6544 with questions or to reserve your space.
