The Barbour County United Methodist Parish is offering a free summer evening camp from Thursday, June 20, through Saturday, June 22. The camp runs from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. and is located at the Barbour County Fairgrounds Park. All children ages 4-12 are welcome regardless of religious affiliation.
The camp will feature lessons, special activities, and crafts. Dinner and a snack will be provided both Thursday and Friday. Saturday plans include a Family Night with food and activities for campers and their parents/guardians.
The theme for the camp is “For God So Loved.” A good time of faith and fellowship is planned. The Parish has been providing a free, fun camp for county children over the last few summers, and this one will be no exception. Prior registration is not needed. Registration will take place upon arrival at camp.
If your child or children plan to attend, it would be helpful for planning if you would call 304-614-1819. Rev. Sam Haught will answer your call. A brief registration form will be provided at camp on the evening each camper first attends.
