Multiple Easter Egg Hunts are scheduled to take place in the county:
Barbour County Senior Center will have a party and egg hunt on Thursday, April 17, 2024 from 10 to 11:30 a.m.
Annual Philippi Lions Club Easter Egg Hunt will be on Saturday, April 19, at 2 p.m. and Little League Park in North Philippi.
Junior Lions Club will have their own event at 10 a.m. in Belington and 2 p.m. at Junior on Saturday, April 19.
Also on Saturday at noon, there will be Easter Egg Hunt at Camp Popeye, organized by FaithWay Baptist Church.
Teter Creek Lake on Sunday, April 27 at 4 p.m.
Barbour County Writers Group will celebrate 50 years with reading from local authors, music by Tiffani Green, and tribute to late Dr. Barbara Smith on April 24, at 7 p.m. at 17 North.
Truman England will perform at Margarita's this Tuesday from 7-9 p.m.
National Weather Service has issued warning for severe thunderstorms late Monday afternoon and evening, with more windy weather on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Total of 21 volunteers removed 25 tires and filled a trailer full of trash along Arden Grade Rd this past weekend. The event was organized by Save The Tygart Watershed Association.

Another Ramp Dinner will be on Saturday, April 19, from 11 a.m. until sold out at Belington Fire Hall, and is organized by Belington Fighters for Firefighters Auxiliary.
Belington Middle School and PBHS bands both received superior rating at last weekend's band festival! Congrats to all!
