County Schools To Distribute Food

Barbour County Schools will be distributing 10 day food boxes for anyone 18 years old and younger. Each food box will meet USDA Guidelines for the Summer Meal Program. Each box will contain 10 breakfasts and 10 lunches. Each box will contain 2.5 gallons of milk.

The food boxes will be distributed from Philippi Middle School between the hours of 11 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. The food boxes will be distributed on the following days: June 12, June 26, July 10, July 24, and August 7, 2024.

Barbour County Schools is looking for volunteers to assist with the distribution of food boxes. They will need 15-20 volunteers from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. during each distribution day listed above.
