Community Prayer Service Scheduled

Please join in a non-political and non-denominational Community Prayer Service to be held on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at 6:30 pm, at the Battlers Knob Chapel in Philippi, WV. Several local area ministers will lead attendees in prayer and fellowship as we ask God’s favor and blessings in the upcoming election on our nation, our community, and our leaders. While hosted by the Barbour Republican Party, this event is strictly apolitical and everyone is welcome, regardless of political persuasion or religious denomination. There will be no campaigning or politicking permitted nor any candidates allowed to speak, as the objective of the evening is to come together as Christians and as Americans to seek God’s guidance, healing, and peace during this divisive election season.
