Community Choir Rehearsals To Begin

The community choir rehearsals in preparation for the Barbour County Community Christmas Concert will begin this Sunday, November 3. The community choir will prepare choral selections for inclusion on the concert which is scheduled for Saturday, December 7 at 4 p.m.

Interested singers are invited to participate. All music will be provided, and there is no special performance apparel required. There is no audition, and no formal musical training is required. Singers should have good “musical ears” and be able to carry a part.

Rehearsals are scheduled for Sunday afternoons at 3-4:30 p.m. at Philippi Baptist Church (on Church Street next to the Barbour County Courthouse) for all Sundays (November 3, 10, 17, and 24, and December 1) prior to the concert. Singers are requested to attend all rehearsals; exceptions can be negotiated with director Dr. Judson Bracey.
