Christmas Open House At Adaland Free To The Public

Pictured is one of the many colorful trees decorated for Christmas. This one was in Adaland Mansion’s formal dining room last year. No one knows who received those gifts under the tree! Come to the free Open House and Santa’s Gift Shop and Bake Sale Saturday, December 7 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

“Come and visit Philippi’s historical gem dressed in all her Christmas finery, enjoy Santa’s Gift Shop and Bake Sale, and soak in the charming ambiance of this 1870 house all ready for the holidays,” says an Adaland spokesperson.

According to the spokesperson, volunteer Christmas elves have been busy since early November decorating the house. Guests will revel in each room’s distinctive décor including specially decorated trees, garland, big bows, mantel decorations, Christmas balls, and other visual treats.

The free open house will welcome the public from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Guests are sure to find perfect gifts, delicious sweets to delight every sweet tooth, and great photo ops for Christmas pictures.
