The Belington Board of Parks is hosting its second annual chili cook off Saturday October 12, in conjunction with its first ever Creepy Crawl poker walk.
The poker walk will begin at the Golden Rule Building and end at the Belington Civic Center, with stops along the way at CrimBridge Market, Hometown Pizzeria, and the Belington library. Participants will draw a card at each stop. The best hand at the end of the walk will win $100. Costumes are encouraged, but certainly not required. Walk will run from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
The chili cook off will take place at the Belington civic center from 12-2 p.m. Visitors can purchase a ticket to sample chili from all the contestants and vote for their favorite one. Judges’ choice will also be awarded. Chinese auction will take place during the cook off.
The community is invited for a fun filled afternoon!
