Calvary Southern Baptist Church to Host Two Events Next Week

Calvary Southern Baptist Church is gearing up for an exciting week of activities for the community from July 15-19. Taking place at the Barbour County Fairgrounds, the church will host a sports camp each day starting at noon. This is followed by an engaging vacation bible school in the evenings at their location on Route 92 in Belington.

The sports camp will offer a variety of activities, including soccer, basketball, cheerleading, and football, catering to children aged 5 and up. It promises to be a fantastic opportunity for kids to play their favorite sports, learn new skills, and socialize. Alongside the physical activities, there will be small refreshments and a Bible lesson.

As the sun sets, the fun continues at Calvary Southern Baptist Church with their vacation bible school themed "Scuba: Diving into friendship with God." Held at the church’s location next to the soccer field and elementary school on Route 92, this event welcomes kids of all ages to explore the Bible through an exciting ocean theme.

It will be a week filled with arts and crafts, music, lessons, and food.
