Belington Readies For The Full Day Of Holiday Cheer

Belington OnTrac committee has organized a full day of cheer this coming Saturday, December 7!

Starting at noon, the Golden Rule will have a Holiday Market with vendors offering everything from homemade crafts to food, and the event will run till 8 p.m.

At 6 p.m., annual Christmas parade will be held, when participants will line up at Rt250/92 split, and take down the street at 6:30 p.m., entertaining visitors and residents.

Santa will visit Golden Rule building at 5 p.m., before he heads on down to take his place in the parade, and right after will be back at the Golden Rule for kids to visit and take pictures. Junior Lions Club will be offering free hot chocolate and cookies, while Barbour County Family Resources will be having a free event for families to make a keepsake ornaments.

Belington Bakery will be extending their hours for those who would want some hearty soup and a sandwich.
