Kicking off at 4 p.m., the inaugural game of the semi-professional Appalachian Thunder football team is set to take place on the Battlers' football field. The Thunder will face off against the Erie Express, promising an afternoon of high-energy competition. Tickets for this occasion are available at multiple locations, including Shop N Save stores, Freedom Bank branches, and Medallion Restaurant. Additionally, organizers have extended a warm invitation to families, with children under the age of 10 granted complimentary admission, ensuring that the community can come together to support their home team.

The dynamic musical duo, Left on Read, comprised of Zach Ramsey and Josiah Laulis, will deliver a stirring rendition of the national anthem, setting the

stage for an unforgettable experience.

Looking ahead, three additional home football games are scheduled for June 29, and July 13 and 20, ensuring that the excitement of Battlers Knob continues to reverberate throughout the season.

As the sun sets on the football field, the excitement will transition to the Funkhouser Auditorium, where laughter will take center stage. Comedy aficionados are in for a treat as headliner Adam Minnick, alongside Bobby Benavides and special guest Dan Desmond, promise an evening of uproarious entertainment.
