Mark your calendars for a spooktacular evening of fun as Audra State Park hosts its 5th Annual "Halloweentown" Trunk or Treat on Saturday, October 26, 2024.
This free event, open to all ages, kicks off at the Upper Picnic Pavilion Area of Audra State Park. Festivities will include a spooky trail, costume contest, pumpkin court, and plenty of trunk-or-treating opportunities. Local businesses, including Haddix Lawn Care, Lazy Acres Mart, Hometown Pizza, and Tripple L Mart, have generously donated prizes for the evening.
The schedule is as follows: display setup 2:30 p.m. – 4:45 p.m.; costume contest 5– 5:30 p.m.; pumpkin court 5:30– 6 p.m.; Trunk or Treating 6 p.m. until the candy runs out!
Each year, the court raises funds for Animal Friends of Barbour County, and this year is no different. Additionally, there will be a raffle, with proceeds going to help this local animal rescue organization.
