Arden Community To Honor Veterans

The Arden Area Community will be honoring its local veterans with a Veterans Luncheon and Program. The Veterans Luncheon is scheduled for Sunday, November 10, at 1 p.m. at the Arden Area Community Center. This luncheon is free and is not limited to veterans and their families. Everyone is invited to enjoy a meal and to support our veterans and their families.

In addition to the luncheon, members of the community have again constructed a visible display of banners to show respect to the men and women of the Armed Forces for their heroism in protecting America. Each year more and more families order banners to honor their loved ones who have served. The banner display features over 60 area veterans and is currently displayed on the front lawn of the Arden Area Community Center. This display will remain for approximately two weeks surrounding Veterans Day.
