Adaland To Host Christmas Events

Last year’s Bake Shop at Adaland’s Christmas Open House featured cakes, pies, cookies, and candies. This year’s Bake Shop promises more of the same. The Bake Shop and Santa’s Gift Shop will be open on Saturday, December 2 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

“Adaland Mansion invites everyone to come and enjoy our annual Christmas Open House and Santa’s Gift and Bake Shop on Saturday, December 2 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This free event is always a big hit with our visitors,” says an Adaland spokesperson.

Besides walking through and enjoying the charming 1870 home all decked out in her Christmas finery, guests will also be able to walk through and shop in Santa’s Gift and Bake Shop to find special gifts and home baked goods. The gift and bake shop is always a favorite stop for visitors and a great place to “shop local” for the community.

December at Adaland offers two of Adaland’s popular holiday buffets, the first being Sunday, December 10 and the second on Sunday, December 17. Both Christmas buffets will have three seatings, 12:30, 2:15, and 3:45 p.m. All three of the seatings will feature Adaland veteran cook Lucy Williamson’s locally famous homecooked foods.
